She is a Librarianship and Bibliography graduate from Vilnius University’s Faculty of History.
The scope of her research includes application of standards at cultural heritage preservation and memory institutions, accounts of library performance and library statistics, analysis of library performance and their accountability, measuring of library performance quality and evaluation of service quality.
She is the author of more than 100 articles published in the magazine Tarp knygų, the scholarly journal Šiandien aktualu and various selections of publications: Bibliotekų tyrimai Lietuvoje, Biblioteka: teorijos ir praktikos pradmenys“, Biblioteka ir skaitytojas, etc.
Her most significant research study is “Analysis of the performance of the system of municipal public libraries by applying the BIX (Bibliotheksindex) methodology“. It is the first research study in Lithuania in which this methodology, i.e. a methodology of a system of balanced indicators, was applied.
