He graduated in International Relations from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in 2006. There he obtained a doctorate degree in History in 2012 (dissertation supervisor Prof. Dr. Habil. Waldemar Rezmer). The scope of his research includes national processes and national minorities in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and the history of the 19th and 20th centuries of the Baltic countries and Belarus. Currently he investigates the biographies of Władysław Wielhorski and Klaudijus Dušauskas-Duž. At the National Library, he is involved in the preparation for publishing of egodocuments preserved at this Library.
