Regarding the National Library’s Opening Hours, April 30 – May 3

Dear Visitors,

We would like to remind you that the National Library is closed on public holidays, and on the day preceding a public holiday it operates one hour shorter.

• The Library will be closed on May 1. On April 30, it will be open until 8:00 PM, while the Children’s and Youth Literature Reading Room will be open until 7:00 PM.
• The Library will be closed on May 3. On May 2, it will operate one hour shorter, closing at 5:00 PM; the Children’s and Youth Literature Reading Room will also close at 5:00 PM.

From May 4, 2026, the Library will operate on its regular schedule:

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
