Opening hours during July and August

Dear visitors, 

pease be informed that from 1st of July to 31st of August the National Library will switch to summer opening hours. 

The Library is open and the registration and information desk is working: 

• Monday to Friday 10.00–21.00;
• Saturday, Sunday 10.00–18.00;
• from July 1 to August 16, 2026, the Registration and Information Desk operates in standby mode on Saturdays and Sundays;
• from July 1 to August 16, 2026, the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Lithuanian Studies reading rooms operate on Sundays without a duty bibliographer, while the Music and Visual Arts Reading Room and the Music Space are closed. 

The Children's and Youth Literature Reading Room will be open: 

• Monday–Friday from 10:00 to 20:00;
• Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00.
