National Library offers more resumed services
With the quarantine conditions being eased by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, the National Library opens for its visitors the increasing number of spaces and opportunities to work and study.
From May 12 we invite our visitors to resume using the following services:
- securely equipped computerized workstations in the reading rooms (except for the reading rooms of Children's and Youth Literature and of Periodicals). The visitors may also work using personal computers in the reading rooms, common spaces and in the Event Space on the 3rd floor;
- The documents of the Collection of Rare Books and Manuscripts, which are available in the reading room of Rare Books and Manuscripts. The service is only provided to the visitors having pre-registered in advance by e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and having arrived to the reading room at the appointed time. The duration of one visit – up to 2 hours. The visitors are not issued with the documents from the Open Collection of this reading room;
- The documents of the Judaica Collection which can be read in the Judaica Research Centre. The service is only provided to the visitors having pre-registered in advance by e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and having arrived to the Centre at the appointed time. The duration of one visit – up to 2 hours. The visitors are not issued with the documents from the Open Collection of this Centre.
- to purchase the publications published by the National Library at the registration and information desk.
The visitors are also reminded that, for security reasons, the library services are also provided with restrictions, and the visitors are subject to special requirements. Before arriving to the library, please make yourself familiar with the key information.
