Ukraine. Between the Frontline and Everyday Life

Commemorating the fourth anniversary of Russia’s war against Ukraine, we invite you to pause and take look at books that help understand this period more deeply than news headlines. War is not just about timelines, front lines, or political decisions. It is about people’s stories, choices, losses, resistance, and everyday life that continues even under the hardest circumstances.

On this shelf, you will find books about Ukraine in various genres: from historical and political analyses to testimonies, journalism, fiction, and voices of Ukrainian authors. These are books that allow you to experience Ukraine not only through the lens of war but also through its culture, identity, human experiences, and resilience.

The books exposition „Ukraine. Between the Frontline and Everyday Life“ will take place in the Leisure Space (3th floor) of the National library from 24 of February.
