The National Library is undergoing renovations: temporary changes to the rules for using reading rooms and common areas

Dear readers,

From March 26 to April 22, due to renovation work taking place in the library premises, access to the Leisure Reading Area on the 3rd floor will be limited.

During the renovation period, it will not be possible to order items from the Leisure Reading Collection via the portal www.ibiblioteka.lt.

Changes in the reading rooms’ operating procedures:

Starting April 8, the Humanities Reading Room will be closed. Visitors will be able to use additional workspaces in the Event Space on the 3rd floor; the entrance to this area will be from the 5th floor. During library opening hours, readers will be assisted by a bibliographer stationed in the Social Sciences Reading Room.
